The Hungaroring made history in 1986 by becoming the first Formula One race held behind the Iron Curtain. Today, it is the second-longest-running venue on the calendar, following Monza. The track features a tight, technical layout and uphill sections that challenge drivers, while its vibrant fan atmosphere is legendary.
The Hungaroring is currently undergoing a significant upgrade. The entire grandstand has been renovated, and the sectors have been given new names. The main grandstand is now referred to as the Hungaroring and Hungaroring Platinum. These areas offer improved viewing angles, more comfortable seating, and modern amenities. The map has also been updated, so it's a good idea to familiarize yourself with the new layout before booking your tickets.
