Whether you're visiting for the first time or returning after many years, this is the perfect opportunity to experience one of Hungary's most beloved summer festivals. Spread across the charming villages of Kapolcs, Taliándörögd, and Vigántpetend, the festival invites visitors of all ages to enjoy concerts, theatre performances, literary events, craft workshops, film screenings, exhibitions, folk music, discussions, cycling tours, and a wide range of family-friendly activities.

Unlike traditional festivals, the Valley of Arts turns entire villages into cultural venues. Their streets, courtyards, gardens, and public spaces become concert stages, galleries, theatres, and creative meeting places, creating an intimate atmosphere where art and nature exist side by side.

The 2026 edition marks the 35th anniversary of the festival, promising an even richer programme than ever before. Alongside returning audience favourites, numerous artists will make their Valley of Arts debut, while special anniversary surprises, exclusive offers, and commemorative gifts await early ticket buyers.

For more than three decades, the festival has brought together generations of visitors in a uniquely welcoming atmosphere. Whether you're passionate about contemporary music, theatre, literature, visual arts, or simply looking for an inspiring escape surrounded by nature, the Valley of Arts offers something for everyone.

One of this year's biggest attractions is the return of the legendary Hungarian alternative rock band Kispál és a Borz, performing at the festival for the first time since reuniting. They will be joined by celebrated performers including Geszti and Budapest Bár, alongside an outstanding line-up of Hungary's best-known contemporary artists.

Previously announced performers include Elefánt, Esti Kornél, Co Lee, Dzsúdló, Beton.Hofi, KFT, Zorán, and Koncz Zsuzsa, while internationally acclaimed singer-songwriter José González will also perform in Kapolcs. Following the success of recent years - which saw international acts such as Franz Ferdinand energise festival audiences - the 2026 programme once again features an expanding selection of international artists.

Beyond music, visitors can enjoy an outstanding theatre programme featuring productions. Dance, contemporary circus, visual arts, literature, and countless creative experiences complete one of Europe's most distinctive cultural festivals.

If you're looking for an inspiring festival where world-class culture, breathtaking landscapes, and genuine community spirit come together, Valley of Arts 2026 is one of Hungary's unmissable summer events.
