The Tagore Promenade in Balatonfüred will be crowded again on the Whitsun weekend with the 23rd Balaton Fish and Wine Festival! Quality wines from the wineries of the Balatonfüred-Csopak Wine Region, delicious fish dishes, and cultural programs await the audience for four days.
The event aims to draw attention to the fish of Balaton, local and national wine producers, and caterers.
This festival has now evolved into the Balaton Uplands and small-region celebration, where we can exchange ideas about the present, future, or past over a good glass of wine.
The festival awaits visitors on the Tagore Promenade for four days, where the wineries of the Balatonfüred-Csopak Wine Region will be set up. Gastronomy lovers will be treated to an unparalleled experience with cheeses that pair perfectly with the wines, as well as the fish dishes from Balaton served by local restaurants. The best of the Balatonfüred-Csopak wine region will be set up on the promenade.
The Füredi Halas, Spicc Bisztro, and Alföldi Sajtműhely await guests with delicious snacks. This year, too, there will be fish soup cooking on the promenade.
Concerts will take place every evening on the main stage of the Tagore Promenade.
Children can also choose from several programs to keep themselves busy. Every day, there is a playground and a toy library, as well as a puppet theater and a fishing competition organized explicitly for them.
Every day, there are wine demonstrations, a wine market, and a tasting of Balaton fish.
