Egerszalók is a picturesque village in northern Hungary, located in Heves County, just 6 kilometers from Eger. The settlement is known for its thermal springs, historical heritage, and unique wine region. 

The Valley of Medicinal Waters is renowned for its spectacular salt hill, a dazzling white formation created and continuously shaped by mineral-rich thermal waters rising from deep underground. Interestingly, this natural wonder was discovered by accident. In 1961, exploratory drilling aimed at finding oil and natural gas instead uncovered a thermal spring. In recognition of its therapeutic value, Egerszalók was officially designated a spa destination in 2016.
