The Balaton Swim is an open-water leisure sports event specifically for amateur and hobby swimmers, with an average swimming time of 3 hours. It is unique in the world that such a huge and beautiful lake can be swum across in such a large number of people, in an event organized in safe conditions.

A swimming lane of 200 sailboats, dozens of lifeguards and police motorbikes, 3 hospital ships on the water, and more than a thousand organizers guarantee your safety.

In case of adverse weather, the event will be postponed. The distance between the two coasts is covered by competitors in an average of three hours, with the fastest taking around one hour.
